Query On B1 Visa through IWP
I'm intending to apply 'b1 in lieu of h' visa from chennai consulate. I need some information and to know the possibilities of getting B 1 in lieu of H visa.
I have some queries:
1. How to specifically inform Consular officer to Consider my application for 'B1 in Lieu of H' visa during application?
2. What are the precautions i need to care during visa interview.
About myself
Marital status - Single
Age - 25
Education Qualification -Diploma and International MBA
Work experience - 6.5 years
Field of experience - Industrial Automation, project management.
Previous travel history to US-
Currently I'm working in company X for last 5 and half years. Through this company I had already applied for B1 visa and got is approved in august 2013 and it was valid till August 2014(1 year)
And in the 2014 July I went to USA California. To give some consultation services to our client, One of the leading car manufacturers in the world.
In the august before my visa expires I returned to India ( stayed there for 1 month)
- Recently 3 months back I've resigned my company X and started my own startup company Y, and I'm the founder and CEO of the company.
Purpose of the travel - Now I got one contract between US client and my new company Y for giving consultation services for 6 months for one international project in leading car manufacturer. And also for the project meeting for the much awaited upcoming car model.
since this is my startup company I can't afford to loose this contract.
- Related to Financial Funds to cover the Expenses - since this is my startup company I don't have the much capital so my client is taking care of travel and stay expenses....All other expenses will be taken care by My company Y. ( my company have some amount of funds to cover my other expenses ).
My client has given the Invitation letter and contract letter stating the expense covering and contract duration with other details of the project. And the Hotel booking details along with onward/return flight tickets.
- I need to travel to USA ASAP. So Pls let me know the possibilities of getting the B 1 in lieu of H visa.
