Hi! I got a B1 visa with annotation to take USMLE Step 3 exam. The annotation says that and it also specifies the venue as Dallas, Texas on 28 Nov 2015 and 10 Dec 2015. At the time of the visa interview, I was planning to take the exam in Dallas.
However, I got an invitation from my friend who lives in New Jersey to stay at their place. We plan to do some group studying before the exam. So I decided to change the venue of the exam to Fair Lawn, NJ with New York as port of entry. I contacted the testing center and they allowed me to change the venue with slightly different dates. This time, it will be on Nov 24, and Dec 7.
Will this be a problem at the port of entry? Will it be okay to tell the officer that I was able to move the exam to New Jersey? I do have the documentation to prove it.
