  • Urgent! B1 DS 160, intended date of travel passed

    Hi,

In my DS160 I selected the field such as:

Have you made specific travel plans: No
Intended Date of travel : 25th Oct 2015

I created the account for booking the interview appointment, paid the interview fee (160 $) with CEAC number of above mentioned DS160.

I was not able to schedule an interview due to some work and postpone my date of travel to November last week.

Now what shall I do? If I fill another fresh DS160 form will I have to pay the interview fee again?

Not necessary. Continue on with the same DS160. During the interview, just let the consular officer know that you have changed your intended date of travel. If they want to, they'll make the change then and there in your application. Most likely, they won't care.

Question please.... I got approved for a VISA one time entry. The letter from my company has the dates as 29Oct - 7 Nov ( these were apparently tentative ) its been rescheduled to first week of December. Visa Validity is until 22 Dec.

Will this be a problem or can I still enter so long as within validity? I am worried of the annotation of 29 Oct - 7 Nov on the visa.

I will still travel within validity date. Just not on the dates annotated on VISA.

      Please assist.
