B1 visa stamped Indian passport lost/damaged in USA

Hi All,

Need one small query answered, I am in USA on business visa on behalf of my company.
My passport got damaged and I applied for tatkal passport through BLS today , hoping to get it in 3 days.
My query is now when B1 visa stamping is gone along with old passport, can I still travel to India using this passport? What all should I carry if somebody ask about visa?

Do I need to carry any supporting document. Like i-94 form etc? police complaint is not there as it was damaged not lost.
Travel would be SFO-->Hongkong-->bangalore

Do you have a copy of the visa? Take print out of online I-94 entry record.
