Dear Sir
First of all I'm a Libyan citizen but with a Syrian origin. I had my PhD in organic chemistry in 2013 from Egypt. Now, I'm searching for an opportunity to migrate to USA with my family (wife and 6 kids) to get a job and work there. I hardly tried to do that but all universities in the USA require employees having green card. As a result, I applied 10 days ago for the lifetime green card lottery but unfortunately the only chance for obtaining it will be in 2018 under the ID number 148241 and, therefore, they emailed me with the invoice number 2022562 of $300. Now I have some questions:
(1) Would it be possible to get the green card far before 2018 whereby I can travel for the job, or I should first travel to USA or connect with any USA embassy in the neighboring countries, say Egypt, for example? This is because we no longer have any American Agency or embassy in Libya.
(2) What about getting a business visa (B1) whereby I work in USA until I get the green card in 2018?
(3) Please try to guide me to the easiest and shortest way for getting the green card. In Libya the situation is very bad because of war. I'm a good researcher and had many well- known publications (See them under the link Khalid M Darwish Publications). Please do not forget I am originally Syrian with Syrian wife and I have all documentation for proving that (except the passport I do not have) because they also told me the chance for Syrian people is higher. Thank you for help.
Yours sincerely
Dr Khalid M Darwish
