Hi all,
I have a cousin in Dominican Republic who is going to bring his Nanny with him to USA to take care of his children on his visit to USA. He and his wife already got her a B1 Domestic Employee Visa. I have these questions and would like some help from anyone here with knowledge of similar case.
1. If they come together, does the Nanny still need to bring the written contract with her or is that no longer required since he's her employer and they are entering USA together?
2. Can he come with the Nanny alone without his children? Nanny's visa on the passport only says B1 Visa - Domestic Employee.
3. Does he or his wife HAVE to bring the nanny only when he's also traveling with his children, otherwise, the nanny cannot come?
4. Can he come with the nanny first, and then show proof (like flight info) that his kids are also coming just not the same day?
5. What will happen if the nanny comes with only father or mother and no children, is there a chance she will be allowed entry? Or definitely not.
My main question here is to clarify is there is any way if the Nanny can come with the mother/father but without the children to USA? Or only when the children come, then the nanny is allowed entry only in that case?
Thank you in advance for any help provided.
