Travel on B1 while L1B decision pending with USCIS
Hi All,
Request your expert advise. The below situation is causing a lot of confusion to me.
I have a valid B1 Visa and have traveled once before. My company filed for an L1B petition and I filed the RFE response 3 days back. Expected turnaround time is 15 days under premium processing.
I have to travel for an important training on 13 December.
The immigration team advices me not to travel until decision is pending as it will increase scrutiny of my L1B according to them,
I wanted to weigh the pros and cons of travelling on B1 while L1B is pending with USCIS.
1. Can I travel on B1 while L1B is pending?
2. How will it affect my L1B application?
