  • B1 Visa gor refused under 214-b

    Hi,

I recently applied for a B-1 visa and it got rejected under 214-B.

I think i know why it got refused. The consular asked me 2 questions at the end after he made his mind to refuse my visa.

He asked me if i am married. I'm single.
He asked me if i have been out of my home country. Which i haven't.

I have no plan of getting married anytime soon.

    So now my questions.
    1. will it be beneficial i visited Dubai, Thailand or Malaysia within the next month for a week or two?
    2. will it help if i have a property under my name in my home country? because the consular never asked me for any property the first time around.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

    My age= 26
and work experience of 3 years

    Thanks

Does not affect US visa adjudication.

    Unlikely to help.

Young, single applicants have a hard time getting a US visa, because plenty of young folks didn't return to their home countries, unfortunately.

Wait for sometime, get married & reapply for the visa.
