Alias name on B1

Hi , I have my alias name written on my passport ( hand written). I havent used my alias name anywhere officially, though. so for the following question while filling up the B1 visa application, should I have to mention my alias name ?

" question on the B1 visa appl : " Have you ever used other names (i.e., maiden, religious, professional, alias, etc.)?" Please help.

Please call your local US Embassy to try to correct it. They would tell you how to do. They might have experiences for later corrections.
