Can I travel to USA with Valid B1 and having approved H1B petition?

Can I travel to USA (a short trip) with Valid B1 visa and having approved H1B petition? (The H1B is not yet stamped). Will there be any problem in immigration there in USA while travelling with B1?

It's possible with a valid visa, but be prepared to address any queries related to the B1.

i think my acquaintance is in a similar situation. She is on B1 visa which will expire in the next 3 weeks. She is being employed by an employer and they are willing to process her H1 visa for her.
