Marital status is not updated in passport for US B1 Visa Interview

I have interview in next week for B1 visa for US. I have some confusion here:
I got married in last year but I do not have my spouse name in my passport so should I tell VO that I am married or I can hide my marital status.

I have search on internet and found if you are married then rejection rate is high.Please suggest me what should I do?

You must tell the truth. Don't hide.

It is not necessary to change name after marriage. It is also not necessary to have spouse name in the passport.

But if you are married, you must disclose that.
