B1/B2-Intended Date of travel was prior to visa appointment date

I'm applying for B1/B2 visa. Have provided intended date of travel as June 26 and submitted DS-160 application. While booking the appointment, cant find any convenient date before travel date. So i booked the appointment for OFC on June 28 and counsellor appointment on June 29.

Do i need to change the intended travel date with new DS-160, to stick with the interview date scheduled? Is it necessary to change the intended travel date? Or can i leave as it is? I doubt, they may reject my application because of this issue. Kindly suggest to overcome this issue.
