Proof of Occupation for B1 Visa

I have applied for a B1 visa. I have just completed my graduation in May 2017. I would be joining my company as an employee in July, but my visa appointment is scheduled a week before that. I have filled up the occupation field as a Student, but I only had proof of studying in my university till May. Would it be fine?

Since, my offer letter says my start date is in July, if I fill occupation as Employee and go for appointment in June, would it be okay? I do not have any other proof of employment besides the offer letter and invitation letter from the company.
What should I fill as my Occupation?

If you are saying that you have an invitation letter from the company?
It means you have the invitation letter from the company where you are going to join?
