B1 visa rejected on first attempt at Hyderabad

Hi All,

I had gone for B1/B2 interview yesterday and it got rejected. They handed me 214b form. I had to go to attend my business meetings and add inviteletter from my company headquarters as well. They didnt even look at my documents. Please help me. I have total 5.5 yrs of IT expereience.

Below is my interview experience:

Me:Good Afternoon mam.
VO: Good afternoon.
VO: Whats your purpose of travel?
Me: I have to attend meetings where i need to gather requirements for my product.
VO: Whats the duration?
Me:2 weeks.
VO:Name of present company:
Me:XX software dev india limited.
VO:How long have you been with this company.
Me:8 months
VO:Whats ur salary?
Me: XX lakhs per annum
VO: Name of Previous company
Me: XX Technologies.
VO: Do you own any property?
Me : No (I think I committed mistake here. I have property of my father. Should I have said yes? )
VO: Are you married or single?
Me: Single

VO: Sorry your visa cant be processed this time. Thank you

I was shocked and forwarded my supporting documents but she denied to look into it.
Should I have mentioned my flight and hotel details in US in my DS160 form. Can someone please help me how should I woork upon my profile so that I am not rejected second time.

Have you ever applied for PR/ Work permit from any of the below countries:
Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand

Hi Prashant,
Then in this case there r three factors resulting to the refusal:
Your current experience in ur present company is 8 months only.
You are single
no financial ties with ur home country.
