Hi,
I appeared for the B1 interview on 1st Feb, 2018.
Questions asked
Purpose of visit-A business meeting, discussion and planning session to finalize product roadmap
How long-2 weeks
What does your company do-I explained, I wore the company i-card
Your role in the org. Software architect, technical leadership role
what other countries you have visited-UK-1 yr, Japan-15 days, Thailand (Tour)-5 days
what is your experience in your current org- 1 y 10 m, but said around 2 years.
I got rejected. Did not find any immediate reason.
Few other members of my org appeared later, but their visa got approved.
Now I would need to reapply within another week or two.
Now I see that I visited some other countries, France and Switzerland (tour) during my UK trip, and I entirely forgot to mention those in my DS 160 and i did not mention about those during interview.
Can it be a reason for the rejection?
If i reapply and put those missing information in DS 160, would that help. I mean if they find discrepancies in two subsequent DS160, would they immediately reject?
Please suggest!
Thanks,
Debojit
