Hi,
Recently I got my B1 visa rejected, and I am planning to reapply.
I heard people saying that DS 160 is very important. I am thinking what's so important. Its my personal data, like what school did I attend, what company did i work for, etc, or salary.
I understand that i should furnish it correctly. Is there any other importance, deciding factor based on the data entered? Well I made a mistake here, that I forgot to mention 2 of my vacation travels in DS 160, also forgot to mention about those while asked at consulate. There were evidences in my passport, and i provided incorrect information. So I am assuming this as the probable reason of rejection.
I have planned to furnish the DS 160 again with those missing information.
I think they might ask why you are reapplying and what changed from last time.
What should I answer here apart from that missing travel info?
In general what are the chances of visa being approved after being rejected.
Questions asked
1. Purpose-Going to attend business summit
2. What is your role - software architect
3. for how long-2 weeks
4. What does your company do - Its a global leader in ECM products and solutions
5. How long you are working in your correct company-2 years. Is it too less? My total ex is ~ 12 yrs, however I did not mention my total ex as it was not asked. I tried to be most precise.
6. What other counties did you visit? Japan (Work), UK (Work), Thailand (Tour). I forgot to mention Switxerland and France here. Even forgot to mention in my DS 160.
They said you do not qualify for this visa. Did not disclose any reason and handed me that 214 b form.
Please help.
