Received B1/B2 for 10 years for tourism but now need to travel on business

    Received B1/B2 for 10 years for tourism but now need to travel on business

    Have travelled several times on b1/b2 to USA for tourism over the last 10 years. Now for the first time i need to go for business to USA. So now this time i will be informing the immigration officer at the port of entry that i am here for business. Is it Correct whereas i had got the visa for tourism travel to US several years back? Do i need to get in touch with the embassy here and inform them about my plans. Please advise.

    That's no problem. As long as the visa says B1/B2, you can enter for any B1/B2 purpose.
