  • Documentation required for Business Visit at Port of Entry

    Hello

I have a B1/B2 Visa issued last year and I was in US for 5 weeks for training sponsored by my company and I came back to India.

I along with my friends working on a prototype, have a company registered in in US, and am the named CEO, and want to visit US for looking for opening a *bank account *office space and recruit couple of employees there.

I have couple of questions regarding this:

    1) What documents should I carry along with me.
    2) how much cash should I hold in terms of cards and liquid respectively.

    Please let me,
    Thanks,
    Sun

      Thanks for your reply!

The link provided by you says, "Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables nationals of certain countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business (visitor visa purposes) for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Not all countries participate in the VWP, and not all travelers from VWP countries are eligible to use the program". And India is not listed there and VWP is not Indians.

I am confused at the stays of 90 days or less, as the B1 permits a stay of 180days altogether.
My B1 business visit plan spans across 12-16 weeks of stay in US. Will that mean that I will not be allowed to enter?

      Please clarify.
