B1/B2 - Do I apply in country of employment or country of citizenship?

Hello!

I am enquiring on behalf of two of my colleagues; both require B1/B2 visas as we often travel to USA for installations organised through our UK company.

Can someone please tell me:

We have a
1) UK citizen and a
2) Hungarian citizen

Both residents in Hungary, working/travelling to US for our UK company.

Do they need to apply for their B1/B2 visa in Hungary, or in the UK?

If UK citizen is residing in Hungary for long time, then he can apply in Hungary with proof of residence in Hungary.

Hungarian citizen ofcourse can apply in Hungary.
