Using B1 for Personel trip

Dear Immi help,

My friend is having valid B1 for 10 years. He wants to travel to USA for period of 4 weeks(personel trip).
is it possible?
what is procedure for travelling on a personel trip ?

legally, you cannot use b1 for personal trip
upon landing the immigration officer may ask the nature of this trip for business purposes and approximate time frame of stay required
however, you can always explain that this particular trip is person and be completely honest with the officer
pray and he should get the stay

Does it say B1 or B1/B2 on the visa?

Are there any annotations on the visa such as purpose or company name?

The Visa type is B1/B2 , and they have not mentioned company name on the visa.
plzz advice whether the person can use this visa for his personel visit or not
if yes plzz suggest the what answer we have to give at the time of port of entry..

You can use that visa for personal tourist visit. I don't see any reason why not.
