B1 for clinical traning

hello, i have an appointment in october and im going for my clinical traning in US, this is supposed to be a 2yr programme and would like to know if B1 visas are issued for a 2 year period, and if there are any specific documents i require?

B1 is not meant for clinical training. It is meant for short term business. Clinical traning usually qualifies for J-1 or H-1 visas
and the institute providing training in US will have to file a petition for one of
these visas in US.
