Group Interview for B1

Myself and one of my colleagues are scheduling for a B1 business visa and just had the Visa Application receipt from the HDFC bank.
Just wanted to know that can we apply for a "group interview", i.e. appear in front of the Visa officer at the same time?

Hi,
Had asked the same question from VFS and below is their response;



Inorder to schedule an interview appointment together you can follow the procedure below :-

Kindly log on to the website www.vfs-usa.co.in and click on the option ‘Apply for non-immigrant visa’ on the homepage following which you need to enter the necessary details in the system, you will be provided with a page having option ‘Create new application’ where you need to fill the forms for the first applicant. Following which you will get an option ‘Co-workers/Family member traveling together’, where you need to fill the forms of the second applicant and proceed ahead to schedule a single appointment for both the applicants together.



Incase you have already scheduled an appointment then you cannot add any other application to it. You need to schedule separate appointments for both or cancel your current appointment and create a new application for both together to schedule a single date with the available dates as a result of which you also loose your current appointment.
