HELP! please! I-94 not submitted - visa interview in 9 days!

I just found an I-94 form stapled to my passport - apparently I forgot to turn it in on one of my previous trips to the US!

my visa interview (for a new b1\b2 visa) is in 9 days and i really need to be in the US by 26th.. i really dont have time to do much about it now!

the I-94 was valid till june 29 last year... I have immigration stamps showing my return to canada well before that.

Any advice on how to proceed?? I'm really *really* worried now...

remove the card and don't worry about it

take it easy, no harm done

As I understand it, they will mark you as 'overstay' if you dont turn in this card ...Wont it be a problem when I go for my visa interview?

they may not!

they may not do any such thing now
just take the card out of your passport and go for the interview

technically when you leave the country the airline counter where you check-in are supposed to take the i-94 from your passport and pass it on to the immigration

if they didn't, it's not your fault

just keep your papers with you like airline ticket copies, boarding pass if available, etc. to show you left the country

of course you have the stamp on your passport anyway

Keep the card with you though, if they ask about it do not lie and say "i turned it in 1 year ago".

But do not volunteer it either (here, i forgot to give this).

Hopefully it will all work out.
