Retrieving records of prior visa

Dear Sir

I Am An Indian Businessman Seeking Your Help And Advise. I Visited Usa In 1990 On Tourist Visa .
Now I Want To Visit Usa For Business But I Do Not Have Any Record Of Previous Visit. The Same Passport On Which The Visa Was Given To Me Is Not Traceable.

Is It Possible To Obtain Record From Us Embassy Or Thru Some Other Source To Know My Chances Of Obtaining Visa.

I don't think it is possible to obtain records from US consulate regarding this.
