Hi Friends,
I hv been going thru these experiences and thought of sharing mine and also seeking an advice from those who are experienced.
I am into sports and have travelled across the world...more than 20 countries ..one of the best countries in the world to attend my tournaments. I had applied for a visitors visa in 2004...which was rejected on 214 b grounds. Everything was in place but nothing was checked or asked for..the officer mentioned this statement "Unfortunately u r unmarried and never been to US before..hence u are our potential immigrant, please apply next time.
After 2 years....i had a tournament in US and applied along with my team...this time i was married and had a 9month old kid....my visa was rejected this time..as i was carrying my baby along for the tournament this was 214 b again...i reapplied within a week's time as my visit to US was of utmost importance...but this time i applied without my son.. Again they rejected on 214B grounds..reason...why i didnt apply with my son this time...
I was damn irritated as this was not the reason...all the documents were in place, the officer checked few of them...still rejected. Now this was a year and a half back. Post this incident...i visited UK for official purposes stayed for a month and returned. Now i hv joined a new company which is a US MNC..i have to visit the US office for official training and business meetings for 2 weeks starting this month end....This time i have applied for a Business Visa...and again all my docs are in place...my colleague appeared for an interview today..and got his visa while my interview is scheduled next week.
Based on the scenario above can any one advice me on tips which would be of use to me during my interview...
Thanks a ton...
