  • Regarding Employers letter for B1/B2 visa !!PraetorianXI

    Hi all ,
I just came back from my client in USA on Dec 17,2007.Now I have to visit again as the client wants some new works to be done. At that time I was self employed having several clients in India & USA.NOw at present I also have that status , in addition I have joined a company where i work at day as a Manager while I work from eve to night for my clients. Now this company wont give me a 5 months leave nor they wd give me a letter saying they are assigning the leave. All I can show is the appointment letter & visiting card.
    Then what to do .........
    a) shd i say CO that I have joined this company and they wont give any letter or
    b) say I am working temporarily or

    c) wd I not mention it at all and say I am still self employed ............ what shd i say ??

I thought the CO may be indignant that this man is leaving this job to go to USA.

    Pls advice !!!

If your company is not going to give you a leave, then what are they doing? firing you?

You need to resolve this issue with your company before going for the visa.

Either way, you should not wilfully conceal any information, but you do not have to answer something not asked for either.

You do not need to hide or lie about anything. But if this is just a "part time" job and you are leaving it when you go to the USA, then you should put you are "self employed".
