I'm working as a consultant for a company in the US since past 1.5 yrs now. The company has invited me to come to the HQ for training purposes.
Now to give you a brief background, I've been in the US from August 2001 through October 2006. Initially I was on an F1 visa and did my masters and then transferred to a H1-b visa when I started working. At the end of the 1st H1-b I asked the same company to offer me a contractor/consultant role in india (as we did not have a branch office in india) and they agreed. So I came back and have been working since for the same company.
So now my question is -- I have the invite letter from the company, as well as my contract with the company. Are the above 2 docs sufficient or do I need additional documents from the company in US. Also at some place in the visa form it asks to name the employer ? since I am a contractor who should I mention as my employer? since technically the company in US is my client.
Also which other documents in general should I take in such a case?
