B1 Visa expired, applying again

Hi,
My Name is Venkat and my B1 visa expired 4 months back, now I am going to apply for B1 visa again, I have a question, do i need to go to Chennai for visa stamping again or Am I eligible for drop my documents in VFS office?
Can any one please clarify my question?
