Re-apply B1 visa

Hi all!

I have appeared for B1 for first time, my visa was rejected.
Here is what happened:

Which company u are working for?
I responded with my company name and its location

Since when have you been working?
I have been working there since 1 year 2 months

Whats you pay?
Its 1 lakh 60 thousand per annum

Next she just gave my passport and said your visa has been rejected.

This was absurd.. i wasnt even asked the reason for travel nor asked to present any docs, i need to attend training by my company sponsorship at client place.

However; now when can i re-apply, can i apply immediately or say after 3 months..

You can apply immediately but that would probably not help because I think that your salary is a criteria for rejection. If company can afford a training in USA, they can afford to pay a decent salary too and that's the reason VO must have suspected.

Same case happened to me here in US Consulate Dubai.

I Joined the Dubai branch of the US company for about 2 months back but to start the job need to attend a training. Despite I have companys invitiation letter she rejected my visa. When I questioned her that without the training I cannot start the job, she replied this is my job, I have to go thru certain criterias to issue visa. In my case she told me I am a new employee of the company so no job security. She told me to try after a year in this job. Now Company advised me to apply again immediately. They have sent another letter to consulate for the requirement of the training and how it affects if I dont get a visa. God knows they approve or not??

You should spend some more time with your present company (more than 6 months) and then apply again.

B1/B2 Visa Re-Apply

Hi all!

I have appeared for B1 for first time for 3 months stay, my visa was rejected.
Here is what happened:

Which company u are working for?
I responded with my company name and its location

Where you want to go?
My Head Office.

Where is your head office located?
Dallas.

What is your designation and what you do?
I said "Technical Architect" and my role.

Since when have you been working?
I have been working there since 10 months

Duration of Stay?
3 Months

In 2007 you have applied for Work visa to this same company?
I said another company. Actually in 2007 i have applied H1B visa for another company and it has got rejected. I have mentioned in the Applications also.

Then they gave me my passport and said i am not qualified for this trip.

Dont know what went worng, May be the period of stay was 3 months or just working in this company for 10 months. Actually my total experience is 13years and i worked 6 years in Dubai and now i am in India.

please help me!!
