need to download DS-160 confirmation page with barcode

i filled DS-160 form online and also got the confirmation number. However i forgot to take the print out of the confirmation page with bar code. Can someone please guide me on how to download the confirmation page?

I have the same issue; I was also able to book the appointment based on the confirmation number. But not able to retrieve the form 160 confirmation page.

Hi fellas,

How did you get this resolved? Is it really mandatory to carry the last confirmation page to the interview or is it OK just to have the visa appointment letter which would have the BAR CODE on it?

I forogt to print the confirmation page, but took the appointment with the help BARCODE# that I remembered.Is this VFS apptmnt letter enough?

Please help, we are going to visa on 16th Apr.

I am also having same problem. By the time I clicked it mentioned page expired. I am able to copy the CEAC number. But I couldn't able to print the barcode. Using the CEAC number I have booked the appointment. Now I am not sure how to retrieve the barcode using the CEAC number.

Please let me know the same.

Here is the solution ,If you forgot to print DS 160 bar code

Hi ,
I registered today so that I can share this info.

If you forget to take print out of the bar code but able to schedule the interview date with the bar code number(CEAC number).

You need to re-fill the DS 160 Form & generate another bar code & take print out.You can explain the consulate officer the same.

I did the same for my mother's visa appointment & they are ok with it.

You MUST have the print out of the bar code & interview letter.

You can do this now

Please start a new application and then go into the Incomplete application section. It will ask you to put in your details like year of birth of person for whom th application is for. First 5 letters of last name and place you are filing your visa application. Once you do it will ask you for CEAC barcode and then open up your confirmation for DS 160 page.

Visa application for Tatkal passport

Hello every one

I have my passport with me and already applied for my spouse passport in tatkal quota

Visa process requires original passport as per my information but we just have file number information with us

Can we apply for visa from the file number in tatkal quota or it is mendatory to have original passport.

Hi, my friend is trying to invite her relatives in US. She completed DS-160. What is the next step? Does she need to make an appointment using a barcode and how long is usually waiting time? Please advice, one of her uncle passport is expired and he is currently waiting for new one. Thanks for help!

ANSWER: Retrieving/Reprinting DS-160 Confirmation Page

I had the same issue & was able to remember that there's an option to retrieve it, by inputting your DS-160 Confirmation Number. Go to this site: https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx, then select "Retrieve An Application". Put in your Application ID (or your DS-160 Confimation Number, you can find it in your appointment letter). The rest is just your personal security information. Hope this helps!
