B1 Visa Invitation Letter Query

Hi,

Thanks for providing help on this forum. I am an independent contractor from India, a US company is inviting me for a meeting and will be sponsoring my visit. Exactly what type of invitation letter is required from them for a B1 interview? Should it be addressed to me or the consulate? Or, should there be two letters: one addressed to me and other to the consulate? Is there anything else that should be taken care of by them while writing these letters? Also, can they email these to me or should they be received by post?

Your US company need to write a letter on their letter head, addressed to consulate, stating the reason, agenda of the invitation & mentioning that they will take care of all your expenses.

Ensure all dates/agenda etc, will align across the visa application.
