Confusion in dates on I94

I entered US on B1/B2 M visa in April 2010, the officer at the POE wrote(not stamped, wrote it) the date of departure as jul 2010 on I94, his hand writing was not legible so there is a confusion whether it was jun 2010 or jul 2010, though i returned back to India in jul 2010 with out any issues.

Now i wanted to know what is my visa status, whether i overstayed or not because i might be travelling to US again.

Please guide....

Can i contact the CBP office for checking whether my Visa is valid or not ? I just want to make sure i visit US with a valid visa.

It was not clear to you whether it was Jun or Jul. Therefore, you stayed till Jul and now asking whether there is any problem or not?

Why didn't you ask him right then? Or, why didn't you try to do something when you found out about it?

Not much you can do other than try to travel and answer questions at POE when asked. They may allow you or if you overstayed, may put you in removal proceedings.

I would have asked if i had a doubt when the oficer at POE gave it to me , i always read it as jul but one of my friend who dropped me at the airport while i was coming back to India saw my passport and told me it is jun.
My doubt started right at this point .

I am not asking will there be a problem or not, i am sure if i have over stayed i will be put into removal proceeding, if i try to enter with same visa. I am just trying to find out if there is any way so that i can contact CBP and know whether my Visa is valid or not.
