I am stranded in USA and don't want to go back to India at this Pandemic. My company in India is saying that US laws will not allow me to do work from home from USA. If that is true 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254, what should I reply to them? Is there a rule that stops me from woring from USA on a B1/B2 for an Indian company during COVID? Please help.

They are likely correct. The scope of work you can do on a visitor visa, even for a foreign company, is very limited. If you work here full time even if it's for an entirely foreign employer, you likely end up bein considered having US income, which is not permitted on the B1. Further, if the company has a sufficient US presence (customers, offices), it is even more problematic.
