B1 visa after L1B denial

I was denied L1B visa (221g blue form) at chennai consulate about 3 months back. It was denied due to "application is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2(I) (ii)(D) and INA 101"

Currently I am planning to apply for a B1 Visa to attend a conference for one week in US. However my husband is now in US on F1 Visa. How does this affect my chances of getting a B1 visa ? What are the chances that my visa may be rejected on 'potential immigrant' reason or on 'previously visa denied' reason?

If this B1 visa gets rejected, I will have two consecutive rejections. How good are my chances in getting a L1 visa after 2 consecutive rejections and with a 'potential immigrant' problem?

Regarding your query, need to get invite letter or place where Meeting gonna happen and there r so many rejected cases even 5 times and they visa got approved at 6th time for my friends.

My advice to get an Invite letter from an US based well known company and Your Visa will be approved with no matter of time.
