    Hi All,
    On 30th Sep. 2010 my B1 got rejected under section 214(b). I was really worried about my rejection. Yesterday I got my B1 Visa Approved for 10 Years Multiple Entry.

    Conersation with Visa Officer on 30th. Sep.

    Hi,
    My B1 visa got rejected last week, I am looking for very Urgent help and suggestion. Below is the conversation I had with the Visa officer during my interview.

    me: Hi, Good morning. How are you doing?
    VO: Hi, Good morning. How are you doing?
    (At the same time both greeted each other)

    VO: You are going for a month?
    me: Yes

    VO: Please give me the folder.
    VO: Where are you going to go in US?
    me: Mellvile, New York

    VO: Have you traveled to any country other than US?
    me: Yes, Last year traveled to Mauritius

    VO: What is the purpose of your visit?
    me: For knowledge transfer, Training on ERP and few business important meetings.

    VO: What is ERP?
    me: Enterprise resource planning. Our organization is migrating from legacy mainframes to Oracle ERP.

    VO: Do you have specific training plan?
    me: ( I didn’t have any document to show as a training plan). As of now not.

    VO: Can you brief me about your training plan?
    me: I am going for ERP training and knowledge sharing session which is for a duration of a month. After the training I have to come back to India and support Asia pacific migration process

    VO: From how long are working with XYZ?
    me: From last 2 months

    VO: What is your annual income?
    me: 10.50 lacs

    VO: Can you show me the supporting documents
    me: (Offer letter is shown.)

    VO: Oh this is your CTC
    me: Yes

    VO: Sorry, under section 214 – (B) we cant grant you the visa. Apply next time.
    me: thanks

    Apparently I was unsure of the reason for rejection. My company wants me to give it another try with the Visa again. No documents have been changed. I am a little concerned about the interview. Kindly give some suggestions and useful tips..

    B1 Visa Approved for 10 Years with Multiple Entry

    My B1 visa got Approved yesterday in Chennai Consulate. Here is the conversation details this may help you guys for better preparation :
    Me: Good Morning Mam, How do you doing today?
    VO: I am fine, thanks.

    VO: Give me your Document folder.
    Me: Sure Mam.

    VO: Which Place you are going to Visit in US?
    Me: Mam its New york.

    VO: for how long?
    Me: 4 Weeks i.e., 1 month.

    VO: For what purpose you are going?
    Me: For Training and Knowledge sharing session.

    VO: Do you have specific training Plan? And could you breif me about your training?
    Me: XYZ

    VO: Why you only have selected for this training? why not others? And why your training duration is for 1 month?
    Me: I am the first person to join this team so I got the Opportunity to travel US. As per my training plan its required 1 month duration to understand the Business Module and Business Process. And I need to come back India to setup a team and train them too.

    VO: How long you are being with this organization?
    Me: From last 2 months.

    VO: what is your annual income? and Can you show me the proof?
    ME: Its 10.50 Lakhs per annum. Here are my last 2 months salary slip and six months bank statement.

    VO: Why you have been selected by this Organization for this specific role?
    Me: Mam I have 6 years of experience in same domain and in depth knowledge, so I got selected for this role.

    VO: Thanks gentleman your Visa got Approved for 10 Years with multiple entry to United States.
    Me: Thanks Mam, have a good day.
