  • US B1 Visa advice

So last year I applied for a visa to go visit my girlfriend that I met while studying abroad in California (I'm from the UK) not really knowing much I applied for a B2 visa for 4months and got declined. The interviewer said based on not having enough ties and that I do not have sufficient funds my Visa was declined. I had prepared a really solid application but she was not interested in it at all.

I'm unsure whether it is worth even attempting to try go to the US again this year. It worries that I would get declined again, and that could end up leading to some more problems? Can anyone give me any advice on what to do ?

I also did not mention that I am going to see my girlfriend last time I just said that I was visiting friends, should I specify that this time?

Background I'm British born but my family are indian both of my parents are British too I'm currently 22 and study Computer Science at University.

For B1/B2 vsa, you need to prove that you have strong ties to your home country & you'll surely return upon the purpose is solved.

By mentioning about your GF, you'll risk your next visa application also. Having a USC GF, shows that you've intention to stay in USA on long term.

Focus on how you can convince VO that your visit is temporary & you'd return after sometime.

You have mentioned that you applied for a B2 visa to visit your girlfriend in California but got declined due to insufficient ties and funds. You are unsure if you should attempt to apply for a visa again this year, and whether you should mention your girlfriend as the purpose of your visit.

Firstly, it's understandable that getting declined for a visa can be discouraging, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you will be declined again. However, before you reapply, it's important to understand the reasons for your previous visa denial and address them in your new application. You can seek advice from a visa specialist or immigration lawyer to help you with this.

Regarding mentioning your girlfriend as the purpose of your visit, it's always best to be honest with the visa officer. However, you should also provide evidence that supports your purpose of travel, such as itinerary, flight tickets, hotel bookings, and any other documents that show your intention to return to the UK after your visit.

In summary, before you reapply for a visa, it's important to address the reasons for your previous denial and seek advice from a professional if necessary. Additionally, it's always best to be honest with the visa officer and provide evidence that supports your purpose. MyHealthonline Login

I'm sorry to hear that your previous visa application was denied. Applying for a visa can be a daunting experience, especially when you are unsure of what to expect. It is essential to understand the reasons behind the rejection of your previous application and address them before applying again.

The interviewer cited two reasons for your visa rejection: lack of ties and insufficient funds. You should work on strengthening your ties to your home country to demonstrate your intention to return after your visit. This can include securing a job, buying property, or other commitments that show you have strong roots in the UK. Additionally, you should ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover your travel expenses, as well as your stay in the US. You can consider providing evidence of your financial stability, such as bank statements or a
          echat letter from your employer.

It is always better to be honest and upfront about your intentions when applying for a visa. If your primary purpose for the visit is to see your girlfriend, you should mention it in your application. However, you should also ensure that you have a clear
online2yu itinerary for your trip and other reasons for your visit, such as visiting tourist attractions or attending events.

Finally, it is important to approach the visa application
omeglz process with a positive attitude and be well-prepared. You can seek advice from a qualified immigration lawyer or a travel agency that specializes in visa applications. They can guide you through the process and help you prepare a strong application that addresses any concerns raised during your previous application.

Remember, getting a visa is not guaranteed, but if you address the issues that led to your previous rejection, you have a better chance of success. Good luck with your visa application!
