  • What to do if DS-160 form incomplete?

I completed the DS 160 form for a B1 visa yesterday and paid the fees, but I noticed that I only included the address line 1 in the 'Travel Information' section. I forgot to include the City, State & Zip code, but the address provided is clear enough to understand. Do I need to retrieve my application to complete the form, cancel my previous appointment and schedule a new one, or pay the fees again? Thank you.

I understand that you have completed the DS-160 form for a B1 visa but forgot to include the City, State, and Zip code in the 'Travel Information' section. If you have already submitted the form and paid the fees, it is recommended to retrieve your application and make the necessary corrections. To retrieve your DS-160 application, you can go to the Consular Electronic Application Center website and select the option to retrieve an application that you have already started. Once you have accessed your application, you can make the necessary changes to include the missing information. After updating your application, you do not need to cancel your previous appointment or pay the fees again. However, it is important to bring the corrected information with you to your visa interview. It's always a good idea to double-check your application for accuracy before submitting it, but if you make a mistake, retrieving and correcting the form is the appropriate course of action.

It is advised that you recover your application and correct the missing information if you neglected to include the City, State, and Zip code in the 'Travel Information' part of your DS 160 form for a B1 visa. You do not need to reschedule or pay for your previous appointment. To avoid any potential issues during the visa application process, ensure that all relevant data are included in the form.
