  • Stamp ink on the B1 visa

    Hello!
The border control officer put a stamp on the opposite page of the visa and shut it. Now, there is ink on my photo.
Could you please say, if it is considered visa damage, should I reapply?

I don’t think that the extra spread of ink from the stamp should cause any problem. In case if someone raises a question, the authenticity of the stamp can always be verified by the immigration officers. Good luck.

Whether or not ink on your photo is considered visa damage depends on the specific regulations and guidelines of the country that issued your visa. In most cases, minor ink smudges on the visa, including those that may partially affect a photo, are not typically considered significant damage that requires reapplication. Immigration authorities understand that minor issues can occur during the visa stamping process. qr code

It could be related to network latency, server performance, or the sheer volume of data being exported. Addressing these underlying issues may require a combination of network optimization, hardware upgrades, or software reconfiguration.

In many cases, visa requirements and policies vary by country, and the definition of "visa damage" may differ. If the ink on your photo is obstructing important information or making it difficult to identify you, it could potentially be considered visa damage.
