  • Regarding US Visa B1/B2 for a friend

He has his Visa B1/ B2 which expires in June. He will not be going to USA before that. My question is there any way to get a Visa for his travel in May as there should be atleast 6 months validity of Visa. Can he apply for a visa without invitation. He already travelled twice before and at present has a valid visa and visa expires on June. What are the papers or documents required for application approval . TIA https://100001.onl/https://1921681254.mx/.

    Hello,
If the current B1/B2 visa is valid until June, he can travel in May without issues, as long as the U.S. entry requirements are met. The six-month validity rule applies to the passport, not the visa. To renew the visa, an invitation letter isn't mandatory, but supporting documents such as the DS-160 form, proof of previous travel, financial stability, and ties to the home country are essential. Always refer to the U.S. embassy website for accurate and up-to-date requirements. Official Site

Let me ask, is the interview at the US embassy difficult?
