  • Visa Interview/Visa Process Time

    I had applied for b1 visa in usa embassy from kabul afghanistan. My interview was passed successfuly. after the interivew the visa officer said that there are some other admin process that you have to complete it, then visa officer toke my passport along with other doucments and told me that visa process will take 3 to 4 months. and the trianing for which i have been registerd in usa will start in 14th of march 2011. now if i recieve my passport hopefully with visa, can i be able to go to USA when the time of training is passed?

    I am new in this site. please help me to answer my question.

    If you want to go to USA for training and if that has already passed, why would you want to go anyway?

      To whom it may concern,

      thanks for the mail. my aim was if the training time passed as that i receive the visa lately. is there any chance to apply for the next session of that training ? by having the same visa as i applied perilously ? that is i would like to know.

          To Whom it may concern,

          thanks for the replay and for nice advice. one of my friend have a question that i would like to ask from you. during the month of Dec-2010 he applied for US B1 visa, has interview was passed, after the interview the consultant give him a red card that is to be use for entry in to the embassy and told him that we will contact you after the admin process is finished now it have been 2 and half months the embassy still didnt contact him back. now my question will the embassy will give him visa or not? and why its takes that much time.

              usa immigrant visa kabul afghanistan

              my parents just passed thier US immigrant visa in kabul and they received a yellow card in which it is written it will take 3 to 4 months to get thier passports back i want to know ppl's experince anyone is in the same boat as my parents???any one from afghanistan who wants to share thier experinces????
