tourist visa/business visa

I am in USA on a tourist visa to visit my blood relatives.
Basically I am a consultant in India.Since I am in US one of my client asked me to help him in some business negotiation which I did successfully.Now he has to come here on business visa to finalise the business I negotiated for him.He is going to invest in US.
He is requesting me to go back to India so that we both can apply for Business visa and come again to US.
a). Is it advisable and risk free ?
b). can I attend for some business negotiations officially ?
c). If the business klicks he wants me to join him conduct his business here..Is it possible ?
d). Will there be any long term or short term problems for the present tourist visa which is valid for 10 years.
e). Is it possible to go back to India and can come back with in month?
f). Can tourist visa holder can apply for business visa also and get it ?

f) in most cases, people have a joint B1/B2 visa. That is business visa + tourist visa. If you don't have it, you can apply for business visa.
