Dear Sir, madam,
This is Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur.
I received an invitation from CDC Atlanta to appear for a personal interview for a fellowship programme over there.
Since time was short I had taken an emergency appointment.
As scheduled this morning I appeared for personal interview at US Embassy office at 9 am. My finger prints were taken and the counselor informed me that my VISA will be dispatched by courier.
On my way back to Jaipur by Bus I got a phone call from Embassy office. However due to noise in the bus I did not notice the call. When I gave a return call the Embassy’s telephone operator expressed his inability to trace the appropriate desk.
Could you please provide status of my VISA application and guide me.
