Dear Sir or Madam,
I'm currently during a voluntary service in a children's home in Miami. Therefore I was approved for a B1 visa from July06 2010 to July12 2011. My I-94 expires at the 5th of July 2011.
I read on the internet that it is possible to extend a B1 visa for 6 more month. But do you know whether it's possible to extend my B1 visa, because it already allows me to be here for a year?! So could I stay with an approved extension 18 months in total?
I want to extend my stay because the Bishop of Baltimore, Maryland invited me to volunteer in his church - which would definitely be a good reason for an extension. Is there any other way, I could somehow stay longer in the US? Is it possible to just apply for a different visa or a green card? Is there any way I could go to Baltimore after the expiration of my I-94?
Thank you so much.
