Hi All,

I have given B1 Visa interview on 15 April 2011 at Mumbai consulate, interview was good, finally consular officer has told me that my Visa is approved, but I need to through Admin process, and didnt check any document she handed over one yellow paper with her sign.

Can any one please tell me, how much time generally it takes to complete the admin process, other than web site is there any way to track the application status.

Timings for admin processing vary a lot, but at least 4 to 6 weeks.

Recieved an email from US Consulate.

Hi All

I have recieved an email from US Consulate Mumbai stating my Admin process is over and I can submit my documents to process further, but when I asked to our VISA dept. in my company to continue my pending application, then people from VISA dept. is saying that my application ID also needs to be updated in US Consulate web site, then and only they can process my pending application.

Request to all please let me know can we submit the application based on the email or do I need to wait till application ID gets updated on US web site.
