B1 cancelled

Recently, I my company filled for L1B-Blanket from my home country but it was refused during interveiw by the visa officer with the reason that I should file for H1B or L1B individual.
But the worse part was that I had B1 visa vaild till 2017. I had travelled on that visa in Jul-2007 for 3 months. The visa officer didn't ask any questions related to that from me. He just wrote CANCELLED with pen on my visa. Now I have the following questions:

1. Was the visa cancelled with prejudice or w/o prejudice? Although, nothing is written on the visa other than cancelled.
2. What effect will it have on my any further Visa applications say H1B?


Note: I also had an expired L1B in my passport on which I never travelled to US other than B1.

Most probably it will not affect any future applications.
