221g B1 case not visible under consulate website

Hello Friends,


I was able to track my case which is under 221g till 29th November afternoon, but all of a sudden am getting this message when am tracking it online...

We were not able to identify Case # xxxxxxx-xxx-x, Please make sure you have entered your case number correctly.
Example 1: If the number on your form is 20091013330001, type 2009101 333 1
Example 2: If the number on your form is 20102550210011, type 2010255 021 11

What could be the reason for this. Anyone else went through this situation before ?

Would appreciate as many responses for this thread.

The case is back visible again... Its been almost a month now but still no update on my case. Calling VFS or emailing VFS doesnt help as it all depends on the consulate.

Have to wait and watch..
