B1 or B2 or B1/B2

There are three options under B category visa:
1. B1
2. B2
3. B1/ B2

I know what the first two are for but what's the third option for? Please let me know soon. Its kind of urgent as I have to book the appointment date and I am almost out of time.

B1/B2 is a combined visa for those visiting for pleasure or business. Most people get B1/B2.

It is the combination of both B1 and B2..We can use it for business or entertainment.

B1/B2 business and tourism

I had got visitor visa stampped B1/B2 issured for my application stated for business purpose
I visited US for business.
Later I wanted to go to US as a tourist.
I had sent mail to VFS asking if I can travel with this visa for tourism purpose
I got relpy that --
If visa B1/B2 is issued withouth any annotation then you can travel -but if it is with annotation then send us scanned copy of visa.
My visa was with annotation - Clearance received on ---day
I sent my scanned visa page.
Later I got reply that yes I can travel to US as a tourist
