  • B1 Visa rejected Twice. Need to apply again

    Hi

My B1 was rejected twice in March 2011 and again in May 2012. Both the times I had mentioned 3 months of training in the company issued letters. In my Visa interview in 2012 the VO said 3 months is an awfully long time for training and asked me to re apply in H3 class of visa. The rejection was under 214(b)

Now after 1.5 months after my 2nd interview my company is asking me to re apply for Visa. What are the precautions I need to ensure to make it look different from my earlier interview in May2012. Should I just mention 2 weeks of business meetings in this case to make it look different OR Should i be trying to apply in H3 class.

Please provide me some feedback for the same. Would be very helpful

Same with me, so please help.

Earlier, my B1 visa was also get rejected in July 2010 for 214(b), I also mentioned at that time 45 days visit.

I also want to re-apply now for 10 days. What else I should take care?

    Thanks,
    Lokesh

You can re-apply following the same procedures as any other applicant. However, unless you now have new information, or your overall circumstances have changed significantly, the result will not change. Applicants who provide identical information in a second interview rarely get a different result.

          Hi Samuel

This time my requirement to stay in US is for 2 weeks only for technical discussions. Is this a significant change or newer information seen from my earlier interview which had 3 months of stay for training purposes. Even in my office my project was changed because I did not get the visa which would have enabled me to get the required training. Is this an acceptable change for the VO.
