B1/B2 visa for training

I have a B1/B2 visa valid for 10 years. I have travelled in the past as a tourist twice. Now I want to attend a weeks training in california (I am a software engineer in one of the big 5 software companies) . Can I use the same visa? Or do I need a new category of visa?
