"If you have taken any trip outside of the US that lasted six months are more since becoming a LPR, send evidence that you continued to live,work and/or keep ties to the US, such as: An IRS Tax Return or IRS Certified Tax Return for the last 5 years, Rent or Mortgage payments and stubs."
My dad went to India for a short stay (15/20 days) for Annual medical check-up and unfortunately he has to undergo immediate major Surgery and forced to stay back for more than 6 months for Post Surgery Treatment (Approximately 10 months).
Now the Question:
Since he has not worked and no Income the question of IRS Returns does not arise. But he got complete Medical Records to substantiate. What are the other Records that can be supported like Bank account Statement etc., other than IRS Documents.
